I saw few videos on youtube where people played coop, so I though it was a mod or smth but seems tobe just people in one room, not an option as my friend is from a different country and to play via teamviewer or smth like that is just plain bull*hit. I was asking if there is any mod out there, not how to create one. If I'm thinking about it all wrong please enlighten me. What I'm imagining your mod looking like at best is a this war of mine flavored multiplayer SIMs expac, where each person is running a household in the same neighborhood. I cant imagine Coop being functional in a game like this, but I can think of other methods of player interaction. Something like team-viewer would allow you to have a shared control space in the game, if you really wanted the other person to be able to take control remotely. If they can be in the room, you can take turns with each person running a day/night cycle. If you'd like to play with a friend who is not in the room, broadcast your play-through and have them in discord helping make the crucial decisions.
There is not a player in the game but an omnipresent force(you) that compels characters to survive in specific ways that may (but not likely) be efficient enough to endure the war: adding another one of those via network would only cause more inefficiencies.
